2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into a binding contract on behalf of yourself or your organisation. The Service is intended for business use only and is not directed at consumers for personal use.
3. Account registration
- You must provide accurate and current information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Personal-track plans (Free, Personal, Starter, Pro) are single-user — sharing one account between multiple people is not permitted. Business-track plans (Business, Enterprise, Enterprise Plus) support inviting team members up to the plan's user limit.
4. Subscription plans and billing
- Free plan: limited document generation, no payment required
- Paid plans: billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing section of our homepage and confirmed at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
- You may cancel at any time via Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
- We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' written notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
- All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. Customers in jurisdictions that impose VAT, GST, sales tax, or equivalent may be charged the applicable rate based on their country of residence or billing address.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful business documentation purposes. You must not:
- Generate documents containing false, fraudulent, or misleading information intended to deceive counterparties, authorities, or carriers
- Use the Service to facilitate sanctions violations, export control violations, or the shipment of prohibited goods
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service beyond the official public API
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
- Upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without notice.
6. AI-generated documents — important disclaimer
The Service uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to assist in generating business documents. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws before use.
- AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information
- Documents generated by the Service do not constitute legal, customs, or tax advice
- We do not guarantee that documents will be accepted by any carrier, customs authority, counterparty, or court
- HS code suggestions, TARIC lookups, and customs validations are advisory only — always verify with a licensed customs broker for high-value or complex shipments
7. Intellectual property
- Your content: you retain ownership of all data and documents you input or generate. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the Service.
- Our content: the platform, software, design, and branding are owned by Teckologs Ltd and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without written permission.
- We do not use your document content to train AI models.
8. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service you agree to our privacy practices.
9. Service availability and modifications
- We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time with reasonable notice
- We are not liable for losses arising from service unavailability outside our reasonable control (force majeure)
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied
- Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Teckologs Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time via Settings → Danger zone → Delete account
- We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct that poses a risk to other users or the Service
- On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence entitle you to bring proceedings locally (including EU, UK, Australian, and other consumer law regimes).
14. Changes to these Terms
We will notify you by email at least 30 days before making material changes to these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
